Tragic Accident Claims Life of 9-Year-Old in Chitkul Village

A heart-wrenching incident occurred in Chitkul village of Patancheru mandal, where a young girl lost her life in a tragic accident while playing at home. The victim, nine-year-old Sahasra, was reportedly playing with her elder sister and younger brother, using a towel tied around a ceiling fan as part of their game. At the time, there was a power outage in the area, and the children were unaware of the danger involved in their play.

While the children were playing, power was suddenly restored. The fan, which was turned on, began rotating as soon as electricity came back. Tragically, the towel that was tied around the fan got caught and tightened around Sahasra’s neck, leading to her immediate suffocation. Despite the family’s efforts to rescue her, Sahasra succumbed to the injuries on the spot, sending shockwaves through the household and the local community.
