Telangana Sets Record with 95% Ration Distribution for Three Months

The Civil Supplies Department of Telangana has achieved a remarkable milestone by completing 95% of ration distribution for three months June, July, and August at one go. This performance significantly exceeds the usual monthly distribution average of 85%. Officials described it as a rare and record-setting accomplishment in the history of the state’s public distribution system.

According to departmental sources, the streamlined and early distribution process aimed to ensure uninterrupted supply during upcoming administrative or logistical gaps. Notably, some districts have already achieved 100% completion of ration distribution, showcasing exceptional coordination and efficiency at the ground level. This early rollout is also seen as a proactive move to avoid delays during the monsoon season or upcoming holidays.

Officials have also announced that there will be no ration distribution in Telangana until September, as the distribution for three months has been completed in advance. Beneficiaries are advised to collect their quotas promptly if they haven’t already, as no further rounds are scheduled until the next distribution cycle begins in September.
