TELANGANA IS A GAME CHANGER

On the 79th Independence Day, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy delivered an inspiring speech at the historic Golconda Fort, placing Telangana at the heart of India’s long-term economic journey. He launched the “Telangana Rising-2047” blueprint, a development roadmap that aims to make the state a trillion-dollar economy by 2035 and grow it to $3 trillion by 2047. His message was clear: Telangana will not just contribute to India’s growth, but will become a game changer in the nation’s $30 trillion economic dream.

Building a Trillion-Dollar Telangana

CM Revanth Reddy explained that the new blueprint is designed with both ambition and practicality. The plan focuses on rapid industrial growth, technology-driven development, and inclusive welfare measures. By 2035, Telangana targets a $1 trillion economy, and by 2047, the state hopes to achieve $3 trillion in size, making it one of the strongest economic regions in India.

Big Support for Farmers and Agriculture

A major highlight of the blueprint is support for farmers. The state has earmarked ₹1.13 lakh crore to strengthen the agricultural sector. This money will be used for irrigation projects, farm modernization, and financial support to farmers. The CM assured that every farmer in Telangana will benefit from this plan, as agriculture continues to be the backbone of rural life and food security.

Women at the Centre of Growth

Another major focus of the government is women’s empowerment. Telangana has announced ₹46,689 crore for women-focused programs, which include financial assistance, skill training, and welfare schemes that improve health, education, and employment opportunities. Revanth Reddy emphasized that women are the pillars of both households and the economy, and empowering them means strengthening the entire state.

60,000 Government Jobs to Youth

In an announcement that created excitement among young people, the CM revealed that 60,000 government jobs will soon be filled. This will not only provide career opportunities but also strengthen the functioning of government institutions. The youth of Telangana are expected to play a key role in the vision for a developed state, with opportunities in IT, AI, clean energy, and other new-age industries.

Tackling Debt with Discipline

CM Reddy also addressed Telangana’s financial challenges. He reminded citizens that the state inherited a heavy debt burden of ₹8.21 lakh crore. Despite this, the government has already serviced ₹2.2 lakh crore through disciplined financial management. The CM promised that development will go hand in hand with fiscal responsibility, ensuring that future generations are not burdened by today’s loans.

Water Rights and Fair Share

Water security was another strong theme in his speech. Revanth Reddy stressed that Telangana will fight for its rightful share of river waters, especially from Krishna and Godavari. He made it clear that water is a lifeline for the people of Telangana, and the government will work tirelessly to protect the state’s interests.

Recognizing Talent and Culture

In a proud cultural moment, the CM honored Rahul Sipliganj, the Telugu playback singer who won international fame by performing at the Oscars. He was awarded ₹1 crore as recognition of his global achievement. The CM said Telangana’s culture and talent are as valuable as its economic strength, and both will be celebrated as part of the “Telangana Rising” journey.

Telangana as India’s Growth Engine

Revanth Reddy’s address was not only about Telangana’s growth but also about its role in India’s $30 trillion vision. By focusing on innovation, sustainability, and people-first policies, Telangana aims to be the engine that drives national development. With strong investments in agriculture, women, youth, and infrastructure, the state wants to show how regional development can add up to a stronger India.

Conclusion

The “Telangana Rising-2047” plan is both a promise and a challenge. It promises prosperity for farmers, women, youth, and industries. At the same time, it challenges the state to overcome debt, water disputes, and global competition. If successful, Telangana will not just grow it will lead, proving itself to be a true game changer in India’s journey towards becoming a $30 trillion economy.
