Special Trains to Kanyakumari from Hyderabad Announced

The South Central Railway (SCR) has announced a major relief for passengers from the Telugu states who are planning to travel to Kanyakumari. In view of the growing demand and increasing crowd in regular trains, SCR has decided to run special trains from Nampally railway station in Hyderabad to the southernmost tip of the country, Kanyakumari. This move is expected to ease the travel woes of many passengers who have been struggling to get confirmed tickets.

These special trains will operate on select dates, and the schedule will be released shortly by railway authorities. The initiative is aimed at accommodating the surge in passenger traffic, especially during the summer and festival seasons. The trains are likely to include sleeper, AC 3-tier, and AC 2-tier coaches to cater to all categories of travelers, offering comfort and convenience throughout the long journey.

The route from Hyderabad to Kanyakumari passes through several important cities, making this service beneficial for people in multiple regions. Stations like Guntur, Vijayawada, Chennai, and Madurai are expected to be part of the train route. This means that apart from tourists heading to Kanyakumari, people travelling to intermediate destinations will also benefit greatly from this service.

Railway officials have urged passengers to make use of these special trains and book tickets in advance to avoid last-minute rush. The decision has been welcomed by frequent travelers, tour operators, and devotees visiting the holy sites in Kanyakumari. Overall, this initiative marks a positive step by the South Central Railway to enhance connectivity and passenger satisfaction.
