RAHUL GANDHI CONGRATULATES REVANTH REDDY
Rahul Gandhi has praised the Telangana caste survey, calling it a strong step toward building equality in society. He said the survey is a model for other states and can bring real change in the lives of backward communities. According to him, this is the beginning of a new kind of social justice, which he named “Social Justice 2.0.”
He appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in completing the survey successfully. Rahul said that CM Revanth showed courage and commitment to uplift the backward and oppressed sections of society. He added that Telangana is leading the way in social development.
Rahul pointed out that the survey will help understand the exact population of Backward Classes (BC), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST). With this data, the government can create better welfare schemes and give fair opportunities to all communities.
He also mentioned that the survey results will guide how to give proper reservations in education, jobs, and other benefits. Rahul said the central government should follow Telangana’s example and support similar surveys across the country.
Currently, the reservation policy based on the caste survey is waiting for the approval of the President of India. Rahul urged the central government not to delay this process and to give immediate approval. He stressed that the lives of millions of people are connected to this decision.
Rahul also said that the Congress party is committed to ensuring social justice. He reminded people of the promises made in the party’s “Paanch Nyay” agenda during the election campaign. According to him, the caste survey will help in fulfilling those promises.
He stated that knowing the truth about the social structure is the first step toward fixing inequality. Without proper data, it is impossible to make correct decisions for the welfare of all sections. He said this survey is not just about numbers, but about giving people their rightful place.
In the end, Rahul Gandhi thanked the people of Telangana for supporting the caste survey. He promised that the Congress party will continue to fight for the rights of BC, OBC, SC, ST, and minority communities. He said this is not just a political issue, but a moral duty.
