IF YOU DO THIS IN TTD, YOU WILL BE SEVERELY PUNISHED

In recent days, a troubling trend has emerged around the revered Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple. Several individuals have been found engaging in lewd behavior and performing inappropriate dances on the sacred Mada streets and in the vicinity of the temple. These acts, recorded as videos and reels, have been widely circulated on various social media platforms, drawing public outrage and sparking a swift response from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) authorities.

The temple, considered one of the holiest shrines for Hindus across the world, has always stood as a place of deep spiritual significance and devotion. TTD officials have condemned these acts in the strongest terms, labeling them as a grave disrespect to the sanctity of Tirumala. The organization emphasized that the temple premises and surrounding areas are meant for prayer, spiritual reflection, and devotion not for entertainment or personal publicity stunts.

TTD released an official statement expressing deep anguish over the incident. It reiterated that Tirumala is not just a tourist spot or filming location but a sacred pilgrimage center visited by lakhs of devotees every month. The statement warned individuals against using the holy site for selfish motives and explicitly condemned any attempts to turn devotional spaces into platforms for viral social media content.

According to the TTD, vigilance personnel have been instructed to remain extra watchful in and around the temple premises. Surveillance through CCTV cameras and on-ground patrolling will be intensified to identify offenders. Individuals found recording or performing inappropriate acts will face strict legal and administrative consequences. The temple board made it clear that such behavior not only disrespects religious sentiments but also disturbs the spiritual atmosphere.

Many devotees and locals have also expressed shock and disappointment over the recent incidents. Devotees who consider Tirumala as a spiritual retreat are urging the authorities to implement stricter rules to prevent further misuse of the temple’s surroundings. Community elders and religious leaders have also called for social media users to act responsibly and avoid promoting such content.

The TTD has also approached the concerned cybercrime authorities to identify the origin of these viral videos and take action against the culprits. They stressed the importance of digital responsibility and urged social media platforms to monitor and take down any offensive content that targets religious institutions or sentiments. The temple administration also hinted at pushing for a new set of digital media guidelines specifically for spiritual sites.

In light of these incidents, the TTD is considering the introduction of more prominent signage around the temple and Mada streets, explicitly stating the dos and don’ts for visitors and pilgrims. The board may also issue formal guidelines for photography and videography within the Tirumala premises to curb any future misuse of the temple’s environment.

Spiritual and cultural organizations have voiced support for the TTD’s firm stance. They believe such steps are essential not only to protect the dignity of Tirumala but also to uphold the sanctity of all spiritual centers across the country. Public appeals have also been made for influencers and content creators to exercise sensitivity when visiting places of worship.

As this issue continues to draw attention, it serves as a reminder of the need to maintain reverence at sacred spaces. The TTD’s swift response underscores its commitment to preserving the spiritual essence of Tirumala. With tighter vigilance and public cooperation, authorities are confident that such disrespectful acts can be curtailed, ensuring the temple remains a place of peace, devotion, and divine grace.
