From Bhadrachalam to London: A Rural Success Story

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his latest address, highlighted the remarkable achievements of tribal women from Bhadrachalam in Telangana. He praised their entrepreneurial spirit, noting that the jowar biscuits made by these women are now being exported to London, showcasing India’s growing rural economic empowerment. He also lauded their efforts in producing 40,000 sanitary napkins within just three months, underlining their contribution to women’s health and hygiene.

In addition to this, the Prime Minister spoke about India’s robust social security framework, which continues to uplift the marginalized and provide a safety net to millions of citizens. He emphasized how schemes like Ayushman Bharat, PM-KISAN, and others are changing lives and bridging the gap between rural and urban populations.
