CM Revanth Reddy Warns Youth Against Drug Addiction
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has issued a strong statement on the dangers of drug addiction among the youth, warning that if young people fall into the trap of substance abuse, it will pose a serious threat to the future of the nation. Emphasizing the importance of a healthy and focused younger generation, he highlighted that the progress and stability of the country heavily rely on the energy, vision, and discipline of its youth.
He further praised the determination and unique spirit of the youth in Telangana, stating that they have carved out a special identity for themselves across India. Revanth Reddy recalled the passionate involvement of young people in the Telangana statehood movement, stressing that their relentless efforts and courage during that period are a testament to their strength and dedication. He said that when Telangana’s youth set their minds to something, they pursue it until they succeed.
The Chief Minister also called on the youth to stay away from drugs and instead channel their energy into constructive areas like sports. He expressed his government’s commitment to nurturing sporting talent and revealed plans to provide greater opportunities for athletes, not just in sports but also in political leadership roles in the future. This, he said, would help build a stronger, healthier, and more capable generation of leaders in Telangana.
