One lakh government jobs to be filled across the state in the next year

In a significant announcement aimed at addressing unemployment, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has declared that his government will fill one lakh government job vacancies across the state within the coming year. This declaration was made during a large public meeting in Tirumalagiri, located in the Tungaturthi constituency of Suryapet district. The occasion was the distribution of new ration cards, but the focus quickly shifted to the promise of job creation a topic that resonated deeply with thousands in attendance, especially the unemployed youth.

CM Revanth Reddy didn’t hold back in his criticism of the previous administration, accusing them of keeping government job vacancies pending for over a decade. He pointed out that despite repeated demands from aspirants, there had been a deliberate delay in recruitment. The neglect, he said, led to a sense of hopelessness among the youth and hindered the economic progress of thousands of families across Telangana. In contrast, Revanth positioned his own government as action-oriented and committed to meaningful change.

Highlighting his government’s achievements in just one year, the Chief Minister proudly stated that 60,000 people had already received appointment letters for various government roles. This, he emphasized, was just the beginning. The new recruitment drive, aimed at filling a total of one lakh jobs by the time the government reaches the two-and-a-half-year mark, is being hailed as one of the largest employment missions in the state’s recent history. He reaffirmed that this move is not just a policy decision but a moral commitment to help families regain dignity and economic stability.

The crowd responded with overwhelming enthusiasm to the CM’s announcement, especially the youth, who have been eagerly waiting for fresh employment opportunities. Many students and job seekers expressed renewed hope, stating that for the first time in years, they feel the government is serious about tackling unemployment head-on. The announcement has already sparked discussions across Telangana’s coaching centers and employment forums, with candidates gearing up for competitive exams and recruitment processes.

Beyond employment, Revanth’s speech touched on the broader vision of his “Praja Prabhu” government—one that claims to prioritize transparency, public welfare, and inclusive development. He underlined that employment generation was just one pillar of a multi-pronged approach to uplift the common people. From ration distribution to job creation, the CM insisted that the new government is determined to reverse years of stagnation and make the administration people-centric.

With this new promise, CM Revanth Reddy has placed the issue of government employment back into the spotlight. His government now faces the critical challenge of delivering on this ambitious goal while maintaining transparency and efficiency in the recruitment process. If successful, this drive could not only transform the lives of one lakh families but also solidify Revanth Reddy’s reputation as a proactive and reformist leader in Telangana’s political landscape.
