Rs. 30 Crore Parking Structure to Ease Devotee Rush in Vijayawada

A state-of-the-art multi-level parking complex has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 30 crore in Yanamalakuduru, a suburb of Vijayawada. This advanced facility has been designed to accommodate 500 cars and 2,000 two-wheelers at a time, providing great convenience to the growing number of devotees visiting the renowned Ramalingeswara Swamy temple. The parking structure is expected to ease traffic congestion in the area, especially during festivals and peak visiting hours.

This significant infrastructure project is part of a larger development initiative being led by donor Sanga Narasimha Rao, who is contributing Rs. 70 crore towards the overall renovation and expansion of the Ramalingeswara Swamy temple. As part of this grand vision, the temple is being transformed into a major spiritual and cultural hub. The newly built parking facility will support this transformation by enhancing accessibility for pilgrims and tourists alike.

In addition to the parking facility, an Annadana building is being constructed to provide free meals to devotees, reinforcing the temple’s commitment to service and hospitality. A 50-room cottage complex is also under development to offer comfortable accommodation for outstation visitors. With these developments nearing completion, the temple is poised to become a modern and well-equipped center of devotion, welcoming thousands with improved facilities and spiritual ambiance.
