Massive Explosion Triggers Fire at Sangareddy Chemical Plant

A major fire accident created panic in the Pasha Mailaram industrial estate located in Sangareddy district. The incident took place at Seegachi Chemicals industry when a reactor unexpectedly exploded, causing a massive fire. The explosion sent shockwaves throughout the premises, and dense smoke engulfed the surrounding areas. Workers present inside the industry rushed out in fear and confusion, trying to escape the fire and thick fumes.

Preliminary reports suggest that more than 20 workers sustained serious injuries due to the explosion. Several of them suffered burns and other trauma-related injuries. The intensity of the blast indicates possible lapses in safety protocols, but official confirmation is awaited. Panic gripped the area as injured workers were rushed out by their colleagues and bystanders, even before rescue services arrived.

Upon receiving information about the incident, fire brigade personnel reached the scene promptly. Multiple fire engines were deployed to control the blaze, which continued to rage for some time due to the presence of chemical substances. Ambulances and 108 emergency teams also reached the location to assist in rescue operations. Local authorities cordoned off the area to prevent further damage and ensure public safety.

The injured were initially taken to nearby hospitals in Patancheru for emergency medical care. However, as many were reported to be in critical condition, they were quickly referred to specialized hospitals in Hyderabad for advanced treatment. Meanwhile, anxious family members gathered at the site, seeking information about their loved ones. The district administration is expected to order an inquiry into the incident to determine the exact cause and ensure accountability.
