Bihari Gang Targets Special Trains, Creates Panic Among Passengers

A gang from Bihar has become a growing concern for railway authorities and passengers traveling between Guntur and Secunderabad. This gang has been strategically targeting special trains, particularly during night journeys when the train is moving at high speed and the sound of wheels drowns out most external noise. Taking advantage of this, the gang quietly executes thefts, snatching valuable belongings from unsuspecting travelers.

Passengers have reported a series of coordinated thefts, where the culprits swiftly move between compartments, cutting bags, stealing purses, and vanishing before anyone realizes. These incidents often go unnoticed until much later, adding to the frustration of victims. The gang’s method of operation indicates a well-planned strategy that exploits the lack of surveillance in certain stretches of the route.

Railway officials have launched an investigation and are working in coordination with RPF and GRP personnel to nab the culprits. Security has been beefed up on specific trains and stations along the Guntur–Secunderabad route. Passengers are being urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately to railway helplines. The authorities hope to curb the menace and restore safety for long-distance rail travelers.
