Hyderabad Gears Up for Miss World 2025 with Grand Preparations and Global Spotlight

Preparations are in full swing for the 72nd Miss World pageant, set to take place in Hyderabad from May 7 to 31, 2025, with the grand finale scheduled at the HITEX Exhibition Centre on May 31. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to ensure seamless arrangements, emphasizing the importance of security, hospitality, and city beautification. Special officers have been appointed to oversee departmental responsibilities, and efforts are underway to complete pending beautification projects across the city. ​

A high-level coordination meeting, chaired by Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty, focused on finalizing security protocols, traffic management, and inter-departmental coordination. Given recent security concerns, including a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, authorities are implementing stringent measures to ensure the safety of international delegates and attendees. Enhanced security will be in place at key locations such as airports, hotels, and event venues, with special transport facilities arranged for visitors.

Beyond the pageant, the event aims to showcase Telangana’s rich cultural heritage and modern infrastructure. Contestants will visit iconic landmarks like Charminar, Ramappa Temple, and Pochampally, and participate in various initiatives, including sports events and medical awareness drives.
